Tasting notes
Colour:
It has a high layer with a red background and rim.
Nose:
Very deep black fruit with some red flashes.
There are notes of aromatic herbs and you feel the shade of the pine forest in a cool day. The nose is nice and harmonious.
The freshness of the vintage is evident in the aromatic profile and the
wood disappears between the main sensations.
Taste:
It has a good volume, perhaps lighter due to the characteristics of the vintage.
The tannin is very good, and the mouthfeel is long and cool.
In the aftertaste is very fresh and pleasant. The fineness of the tannin is surprising and denotes a fresher and longer style than their ancestors due to the influence of a cold and rainy year.
It is a pleasure to feel such a wine in such a difficult vintage.
Climatic cycle
Precipitation in the average of the zone.
The winter was quite mild, with no frost that affected the vineyard. Spring was colder than usual, especially the month of
May in which there were two frosts that affected some vineyards.
The cycle of the vineyard accumulated 10 days of delay due to the cold of May and June. The veraison arrived 11 days late. The final part of September and the first of October was rainy and with mild temperatures.
