CORIMBO 2012 (DO Ribera del Duero) collaborated with the 7th Gala Sida being the red wine of the charity dinner that was held on Monday 21st November at the Glass Gallery in the Cibeles Palace in Madrid, presided by Dr. Bonaventura Clotet of the Fight Against AIDS Foundation, directed by Miguel Bosé and with the complicity of Belén Rueda as ambassador. This year gathered more than 700 guests, institutions and solidarity enterprises with the cause. Gala Sida has become the most important social and charity event in Spain. In its first 6 editions has raised more than 3.5 million euros, and has being trending topic on social networks.

The aim of this charity night was to raise funds to finance the research projects of the Fight Against AIDS Foundation focused on the HIV eradication and its cure through the vaccine and other eradication strategies.

The Glass Gallery in the Cibeles Palace, which was generously lent by the Madrid City Council, was transformed that night into a magical space, where the guests could enjoy an appetiser in which they tasted the edible vegetable garden of Chef Paco Roncero. Then it was followed by a dinner offered by Mercès, one of the best caterings of Spain and served by its founder, Mercè Solernou. An organization of more than 300 people made possible this event in which for the dinner were used 3.500 Riedel glasses and more than 3.700 dishes.
