CORIMBO I 2010 label
bottle of CORIMBO I 2010

Cherry red in colour, against a dark background with slight purple edging. Deep, intense colouring..

Very intense and voluminous, yet elegant and polished. The fruits of the vineyard and the grape harvest stand out strongly against the hint of ripeness, which is detected at the bottom. Blackberries and damsons are clearly identificable against a background impression of aromatic plants flowering in the pine forest. A deep mineral note rounds off the aromatic profile of this magnificent wine.

Voluminous, ample, filling the mouth with black fruits that give way to notes of aromatic plants and earthiness. The wine finishes with a deep freshness, reminiscent of special qualities of the land during an excellent year. The 2010 harvest was magnificent at La Horra, contributing freshness and elegance against a background of impeccable maturity. The fine, fresh tannins add character and class to the Corimbo range, which is a new interpretation of the classic Ribera del Duero.

  • The spring was colder than average. Frost in May, which resulted in the loss of the first buds in some vineyards and made cluster thinning necessary.
  • Light rain during the harvest. Veru sweet tannins. Extraordinary quality with a fresh and floral personality and very fin tannins.
  • 485 mm. rainfall. Harvest from 4th to 16th October.
