Nose:

Very fresh red fruit, even some floral notes.

Palate:

Maximum volume with lots of fresh red fruit.

Good tannin, present but improving.
Long, persistence of fresh fruit.
Good acidity, sharper but with enough wrap.

HARVEST:

  • Rainfall in the average of the area.
  • Winter was quite mild, without any frost that affected the vineyard.
  • Spring was colder than usual, especially the month of May when there were two frosts that affected some vineyards without too much transcendence in the exploitation.
  • The cycle of the vineyard accumulated 10 days of delay due to the cold temperatures in May and June.
  • The veraison arrived 11 days later.
  • The end of September and the first part of October was rainy and with mild temperatures. It appeared the risk of botrytis but finally the vintage was healthy.
