Colour:
Very intense, dark red background with cherry red hues on the rim.
Nose:
Very intense, fragrant bouquet showing loads of rich dark berry fruit, specially plums and blackberries.
Presence of the oak, very well integrated with the fruit, with mineral undertones amidst layers of dark chocolate, sweet spices and ripe plums.
Taste:
Ample, full bodied, ripe blackberry fruit with dark chocolate and remarkable minerality showing through.
Tannins are firm but well rounded with a balsamic finish that awards it great freshness.
A very elegant wine of great balance between the rich fruit, the oak, the cocoa, the underwood aromas and a stark minerality, all blending in harmony in a pleasant but powerful way.
