CLIMATIC CYCLE
After a cold and rainy winter (-11ºC in December) spring was unusually warm, especially in July (max. 38ºC), and April brought the necessary rain for a good sprouting.
July was cooler, still on the dry side, followed by a hot August and a very fine September that resulted in an excellent ripening. The whole summer and the beginning of the Autumn were dry.
The veraison took place earlier than usual, in tune with the 09 vintage, and the health in the vineyard was outstanding. An early harvest, excellent in quality and ripening. The rainfall throughout the cycle was 520 mm.
